Cincom wanted to celebrate the company’s 45th anniversary with a marketing piece to communicate the important milestone to all existing clients and channel partners and celebrate the company’s achievements in Australia.

Cincom wanted to create a special mural design and booklet design to celebrate the company’s 45th anniversary. The idea was to use this as a marketing piece to communicate the important milestone to all existing clients and channel partners and celebrate the company’s achievements in Australia.

With any internal environment, signage, or mural design, how the space is used and interacted with is just as important as how the mural itself is designed. To add more complexity, the design of the mural was made to be adaptable to print marketing material. Our only constraint was in ensuring the existing international brand standards were upheld while still giving the new anniversary branding special consideration

The Outcome

The final mural design was a large timeline that included historical photographs, milestones, and key events pertinent to Cincom and also to Australia at the time. The brand was upheld and remained patriotic to Australia. Major milestones, inventions, and company achievements were communicated in a large info graphic style design, which was then simplified and re-appropriated for print material. The mural design has breathed new life into the reception area in which it was placed and the surrounding space is now a meeting place used by both internal staff and clients.

The mural also serves as an educational piece for clients and lifts morale in the office by providing the opportunity to learn more about the Cincom’s history.
