Campaign Objective(s)

The main objective was to update the Support for Rural Specialists in Australia brand to a modern, professional standard. The new brand needed to align with recent changes to the program name and funding, creating a fresh, cohesive identity that would form the basis for all future communications.

The Brief

When the program was updated, Support for Rural Specialists in Australia needed a new brand identity to reflect the changes. They required a modern, professional look that would bring their brand in line with the new program name and funding. This project was about much more than a new logo; it was about creating a cohesive, professional image that would form the foundation for all their communication, from their website to their physical collateral.

Strategy

Our strategy was to create a modern and professional brand identity that would resonate with the medical community. We needed to ensure that the new brand was a foundational element, not just a design update. The approach involved a complete brand management solution, starting with the logo and then applying that look and feel across all of SRSA’s platforms and materials.

The primary target audience was Australian rural and remote medical specialists. The goal was to create a professional and modern brand that would resonate with these medical professionals and convey the value of the grants and professional development opportunities offered by SRSA.

Execution

We executed a comprehensive brand rollout across both digital and physical channels. For the logo design, we created a symbol that represented Australian rural and remote specialists, which became the cornerstone of the new brand. We then applied this new visual identity to a full stationery suite, and a range of collateral design items including brochures, banners, pens, and USBs for use at conferences. On the digital front, we developed a new website that included a learning management system to support their professional development programs.

Supporting Activities: Our work on this project extended beyond the core deliverables. We were involved in brand management to ensure consistency, and we also designed and produced physical collateral like brochures, banners, pens, and USBs. This comprehensive support ensured the new brand was seamlessly integrated across all of SRSA’s communication channels, from their digital presence to their physical materials at conferences.

The Outcome

The project successfully delivered a modern and professional brand identity that accurately reflects the client’s work. The new look and feel was consistently applied across their entire suite of materials, providing a cohesive brand presence. The client was particularly pleased with the physical merchandise we created, praising the “merch” and noting their appreciation for our help throughout the process.

“All the “merch” looks great by the way – see pictures attached. Really appreciate all your help with this.”
