The Brief
The Recruitment Company approached us believing they had a great brand and simply needed a website that “captured their personality”. They wanted the site to “cater to all their different clients without alienating any of them” while still communicating their core values. They were initially hesitant to hire an agency, but needed a partner to help them make sense of their chaotic ideas and translate them into a cohesive marketing strategy and execution.
Strategy
Our strategy was to go beyond a simple website and provide a full-scale brand strategy and positioning support. We helped them leverage their existing chaotic ideas into a simple, easy-to-understand brand that would grow their business. The plan was to use powerful, innovative, and connective tools—like a new website and video content—to position the company and its key personnel as experts and leaders in their space.
The project’s target audience included both clients looking to hire talent and job candidates. The brand and communication strategy was designed to be powerful and innovative, creating a strong connection with this intended audience.
Execution
We began by bringing disparate brand elements together to create a cohesive identity that was visually engaging and didn’t look like a typical recruitment company website. We designed a mobile-responsive website that clearly communicated their values while catering to their diverse client base. This was supported by a strategy to drive targeted traffic through a combination of content improvements and a backlink strategy to achieve rapid ranking increases on Google, as well as Google Ads to test ad copy and target specific users.
Supporting Activities: As part of the project, we created a robust landing page template for the website. We also provided brand standards guides and templates for collateral such as business cards and capabilities statements. Additionally, we laid the groundwork for a Stage 2 project involving targeted LinkedIn Outreach to generate leads and position them as trusted advisors, making cold calling more effective.
The Outcome
